Who doesn't love the excitement around Race Day?! The early-morning jitters, the long lines at the port-o-john, the anticipation of the starting gun. Regardless of how you've gotten to the starting line and how long you expect to be out on the race course, there are plenty of 'MUST DO' races.
Would love to hear your opinion on which ones....locally or otherwise.
A few that I think should be on everyone's must do list include:
BOSTON Marathon
The Premier running event
NEW YORK CITY Marathon
The largest crowd I've ever run with -- and arguably the largest amount of spectators...would argue the loudest spectators are in Boston!
CHICAGO Marathon
Has a reputation of being a fast, flat course - and a good qualifier for Boston.
CINCINNATI FLYING PIG Marathon
The whimsical, fun, light-hearted approach is enough to make you think, well, maybe 26 miles isn't so bad?
